Caroline Fulton - CEO

Caroline Fulton is the Chief Executive Officer of the Cultural Facilities Corporation. She has nearly 40 years of experience working across arts and cultural organisations in the ACT and Australian governments, with a background in cultural policy, funding, and sector development.
Before her appointment to the CFC, Caroline was Executive Branch Manager of artsACT, where she was responsible for oversight of arts policy, funding programs, and sector engagement. She has also held senior roles within the Australian Government, including with the Office for the Arts and the National Library of Australia, contributing to the delivery of national cultural and creative initiatives.
Caroline’s experience spans policy development, public administration, and leadership within cultural institutions. In her role as Chief Executive Officer, she is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the CFC and its portfolio of cultural places.

Dr Anna Wong -  Director, ACT Galleries, Museums and Heritage

Anna has worked in the museum and cultural heritage management sectors across a broad range of historic, cultural, and natural places and museums in Australia, including precinct-based activation of cultural sites.  Her doctoral research examined the Australian heritage conservation movement through the house museum genre and how this shaped our national identity and cultural representation of Australia’s past and present through collections, conservation, exhibitions, public programs, and community engagement. She previously held archaeology, cultural heritage, planning and museum-related positions with the NSW Government Architect’s Office (NSW Department of Public Works), NSW National Trust, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and the National Capital Authority. In 2005, Anna was awarded research fellowships at the International Centre for Jefferson Studies at Monticello and the Winterthur Museum in the USA.

Sharon Lu – Chief Finance Officer and Chief Information Officer

Sharon is a member of Certified Practising Accountants Australia. She has a Master of Professional Accounting and a Master of Financial Management from the Australian National University. Following her experience in the not-for profit sector, Sharon joined the ACT Government in 2013 and has held various managerial positions in the ACT Government to promote financial sustainability, strong governance and stakeholder collaboration. Before joining Cultural Facilities Corporation in 2023, Sharon was the acting Chief Finance Officer and a member of the Senior Executive Leadership group of Major Projects Canberra, guiding the organisation through complex financial landscapes and driving strategic decision-making in the infrastructure delivery of the ACT Government.

Dr Brooke Thomas – Director, Collaboration and Engagement

Brooke has an extensive background in a wide range of public service, tertiary sector, community arts, and political advisory roles including at both the Territory and Federal level. She has expertise in social and cultural policy development, complex program management, stakeholder engagement, organisational change management, international engagement, and the visitor economy. She has a PhD in Literature and long-term involvement in the ACT community dance scene.
